All children will learn tap, jazz, commercial, hip-hop and pom. Note Twinkletoes will primarily learn tap, hip-hop and pom. Adults classes will be commercial. However, influences will be taken from hip-hop and jazz too.
  • What is the structure to classes?
All children's classes begin with a warm up and across the floor exercises. Choreography will then be taught. Younger dancers will also play fun games to learn the foundations of dance. Older dancers will also learn additional combos to improve memory retention and have performance opportunities at the end of class to develop their confidence. Adult classes will begin with a warm up followed by a fun and upbeat commercial combination with variations available to cater for all skill levels.
  • Do classes work towards examinations?
Classes are focussed to tailor to the dancers' needs and encourage them to become well rounded performers without the added pressure of exams. Dancers will be in a creative and encouraging environment to enable them to become the best dancers they can be whilst also having fun without being restricted to a syllabus.

  • Do you offer sibling discounts?
A siblings discount is available on request.
  • Can parents/guardians be present during the class?
Unfortunately, no. We feel it is best to encourage children to interact and connect with their peers without their parents/guardians present. There is a waiting area outside which parents/guardians are welcome to sit. We recommend that you bring your children 10 minutes before class to get them used to the environment and to give them a chance to meet their new fellow dancers. However, friends and family are invited to see dancers perform at our showcase.
  • Is there a show?
All of our dancers are offered an opportunity to perform at our showcase. This is a great way to see how our dancers have progressed and allows them to show off their hard work that they've put in all year. It is not compulsory to take part however it is strongly encouraged. We also hope to have a Christmas presentation.
  • Do you do competitions?
The current classes we have are recreational with the opportunity to perform at showcase. However, it is hoped that competition classes will be introduced for the 2025-2026 season. These classes will be optional and open to those who wish to take their dancing to the next level and compete.
  • Will there be any special events?
We have plenty of exciting events planned such as the showcase and fundraising events. Follow our socials to keep up to date.
