As we are a new dance school times are subject to change depending on number of children in each age group but we hope to keep this to a minimum and will give advanced warning as early as possible.
All classes take place in Netherlee and Stamperland Parish Church Hall, 30, Ormonde Ave, Glasgow G44 3SL. Note this is located up the hill across from the Derby Cafe. Enter through the church hall entrance and follow the stairs on the right to the upper hall.
Age groups:
Twinkletoes (Preschool, age 2+)
Mini Rockers (P1-P3)
Junior Jammers (P4-P6)

No experience is necessary at all. Both children and adult classes are general level and are catered for all abilities. Variations of steps are used to modify exercises to breakdown the steps further for beginners or to challenge more advanced dancers.

Term one begins on August 27th, however dancers may join at any time throughout the year. This is made possible via our pay as you go classes. However, there will be a deadline to sign up to participate in our showcases.
All children will learn tap, jazz, commercial, hip-hop and pom. Note Twinkletoes will primarily learn tap, hip-hop and pom.
Adults classes will be commercial. However, influences will be taken from hip-hop and jazz too.
All children's classes begin with a warm up and across the floor exercises. Choreography will then be taught which focuses on show work for our Christmas Presentation and Summer Show. Younger dancers will also play fun games to learn the foundations of dance. Older dancers will also learn additional combos through workshops to improve memory retention.
Adult classes will begin with a warm up followed by a fun and upbeat commercial combination with variations available to cater for all skill levels.
Classes are focussed to tailor to the dancers' needs and encourage them to become well rounded performers without the added pressure of exams. Dancers will be in a creative and encouraging environment to enable them to become the best dancers they can be whilst also having fun without being restricted to a syllabus.
If dancers have any health issues/ongoing injuries, we advise that you consult your GP before starting our dance classes. You will be required to disclose any medical information when signing up.

Eg if month contains 4 weeks then monthly fee = £28, if month contains 5 weeks then monthly fee = £35. Please note siblings discount available (oldest sibling full price, younger siblings approx 20% off)
Adult Classes:
All classes are to be paid weekly at £7 per class. Money should be paid in cash at the beginning of every class. Please bring exact change where possible and arrive promptly to sign in.
Unfortunately, no. We feel it is best to encourage children to interact and connect with their peers without their parents/guardians present. There is a waiting area outside which parents/guardians are welcome to sit. We recommend that you bring your children 10 minutes before class to get them used to the environment and to give them a chance to meet their new fellow dancers. However, friends and family are invited to see dancers perform at our showcase.
All of our dancers are offered an opportunity to perform at our Christmas Presentation and Summer Show. This is a great way to see how our dancers have progressed and allows them to show off their hard work that they've put in all year. It is not compulsory to take part however it is strongly encouraged.
We are hoping to introduce competition teams for the 2025-2026 season. These classes will be optional and open to those who wish to take their dancing to the next level and compete. Please note this is in addition to our recreational classes
We have plenty of exciting events planned such as the showcase and fundraising events. Follow our socials to keep up to date.
In our first year, we performed at Clarkston Christmas Lights Switch On, raised over £100 for Glasgow Children's Hospital Charity and attended Can You Dance - the UK's largest dance convention.
Parents/guardians/dancers will receive emails to keep up to date with the academy. Hence, please check emails regularly (also check your junk folder). We will also post on our Facebook and Instagram so make sure you are following us.
